                                                     CHOOSING A CLOTH

I   am   proud   to   offer   a   huge   range   of   fabric   suitable   for   every   occasion.   For   my   business clients   I   offer   a   traditional   English   understated   Fine   wool   worsted   cloth   suitable   for every   occasion,   except   for   those   hot   boardroom   meetings   when   a   super   120/140   wool will   allow   you   to   feel   comfortable,   yet   elegant.   After   work   a   silk/cashmere   mix   jacket   is ideal   for   those   lazy   summer   evenings,   teamed   with   a   Lisburn   linen   pair   of   trousers, which   is   aptly   named   after   the   birthplace   of   Irish   linen.   We   can   team   these   fabrics   with beautiful    coloured    satin    linings,    plain    or    elaborately    patterned    for    the    extrovert, wishing to stand out in a crowd

Moving into Autumn why not look at a Yorkshire tweed jacket. In 1911 Dugdale first issued a range of Yorkshire tweeds, still ever popular and desirable for jackets for the “country gent” look.

The last remaining independent cloth house in the renowned textiles town of Huddersfield, still going strong after more than 120 years. Built in 1875, the Northumberland Street building is the home of Dugdale since 1906 and is one of Huddersfield’s iconic architectural landmark.
